For example, Dalian has one of the most advanced Bowling centers where hundreds of locals and tourist enjoy playing. This center is named as Aibao Bowling, and it is a massive 32 lanes alley with a unique design, air conditioned facilities, and superb customer service.

Go hiking or biking on the Binghai Road
Binghai Road in Dalian is a 22 mile long and winding road running along the southern peninsula, and it is one of the few places that offer spectacular views of the Dalian coast, the mountains, and the ocean. This scenic view starts from starts from Xinghai Park and goes all the way to the Haizhiyun Square.
If you are more of an outdoors person, a hiking or a biking trip on this road should definitely be high on your list of activities. You also have the choice to either hike the entire distance at a stretch or stop en route at various attractions.
Along the route, you will pass by some of the popular attractions in Dalian such as the Tiger Park, the Bangchuidao Scenic Area, and Fujiazhuang Beach. You can choose to spend time at each of these spots and enjoy a swim at the beach if you love swimming.

Play golf at the Golden Pebble Beach Golf Club
Dalian has a number of world class golf courses where you can spend the entire day finding your inner Tiger Woods. One of the best golf courses is the Golden Pebble Beach Golf Course, which is located in the Golden Pebble Beach National Tourism and Holiday resort. This golf course has two separate 18 hole world class golf courses namely the Jinying Golf Course and the Divine Tortoise Golf Course. Both the golf courses are par 72 and offer a challenging game to beginners as well seasoned golfers.
The golf course is situated just forty minutes away from the city of Dalian. The club also has a great club house where you can sit and relax after a long day of golfing.

Take a stroll through the Labor Park
Situated at the foothills of the Lushan Mountain, the Labor Park is also known as Laodong Gongyua and is a large scale modern park that has a unique blend of amusement, cultural, and leisure activities combined with sightseeing. The park is spread across 1.02 million square kilometers and is popular for its seamless architecture that blends the modern style with traditional Chinese style. The park is dotted with cherry woods, pavilions, lotus ponds, sculptures, and terraces. The park is also home to a number of rare flowers.

Visit the Dalian Forest Zoo
If you love nature, you should visit the Dalian Forest Zoo, which is home to more than 200 animals. The zoo is built on Bai Yun Mountain and it allows animals uninhibited walking areas rather than locking them up in cages.
Some of the rare species in the zoo worth mentioning are the majestic African lions, Siberian tigers and Malaysian bears. Your kids can even take photos with pet kangaroos and spotted deer in the walking section.
There are three ways in which you can choose to enjoy the great views of the zoo. You can travel around in the tour bus that stops at six main spots, you can choose to walk around the zoo following the walking path, or you can use the cable car for a bird’s eye view of the place.

Visit the Prehistoric Life Museum
If you have always been interested in anthropology and archaeology, visit the Prehistoric Life Museum in Dalian. This museum houses some of the oldest prehistoric fossils from Chengjiang and Yunnan, and flora and fauna of the ancient world. The main attractions here are the fossils of dinosaurs, the Chinese dragon bird, and dinosaur eggs.
