Rock Climbing in Guangzhou
Rock Climbing is quite new in China but it is a fast-growing sport. There are a few places to choose from in this area including Baiyun Shan in Guangzhou and Yan Yan in Huaijin, a county in western Guangdong.

The Pearl River Cruise Dinner
This is a fun and a kind of romantic way to see the Zhujiang (Pearl River) at night and the evening cruise on the Pearl River is one of Guangzhou's tourist highlights.
The cruise section from the White Goose Pool to Guangzhou Bridge is wonderful, with jade-coloured water and coloured lights on shore. The food is buffet style and the trip lasts about 90 minutes and starts at 18:30.

Visit a Teahouse
Herbal tea has long time been enjoyed by Guangzhou people, especially in the morning. Wang Laoji Herbal Tea is the most famous tea in this area. It is said that herbal tea can alleviate summer heat and cure sore throats caused by winter dryness.
Teahouses are busy by 11:00 in the morning. Serving Tea requires strict attention to the teapot, tea leaves, water quality and even how to pour and drink the tea. The teapot in use is as small as a fist and the teacup as small as half a ping pong ball.

Nansha Golf Club
Nansha Golf Club is located in the heart of the Pearl River Delta, only an hour's drive from Guangzhou. The designer Fuo Yingdong and his co-designer John Jacobs are planning a seaside development along with the golf club. The first 18-holes occupy a flat valley floor, while the latter 18 holes are built on the north side of the valley on the hillside.
