Bicycle tour northwest of the West Lake
The city of Hangzhou is bike-friendly and there are a number of companies offering guided bicycle tours in and around town – the tour northwest of the West Lake is one of them.

Boating on the Grand Canal

Hangzhou Paradise amusement park
If you are traveling with kids, this is definitely a must-visit location as it has several activities they can enjoy. The amusement park is split into various smaller parks, each modeled around a different theme. Amongst them are the Holland Village theme park, Ecological amusement park, Marco Polo’s journey theme park, and the Xianghu Green garden.
Here, there are various activities such as rides, shows, and music and dance places. Do check out the shows that the park features; for example, the War of the Sea Rover is highly recommended and the most popular show.
The water park has several attractions such as the wave pool, sand beach, and the funny pool. Do not miss the ride on the Ferris wheel, pirate ship, and the cable car ride to the summit to enjoy the panoramic view of the park.

If you want to unwind and relax, there is nothing that compares to a good Hangzhou massage. There are a number of massage centres in Hangzhou that offer excellent massages. Walk around the West Lake
Hangzhou is a great city built around the popular West Lake. You can spend the whole day walking and exploring the areas of interest around this lake. There are a couple of causeways, the Bai Causeway and the Su Causeway; that you can take to cross over the lake to the other side if you do not want to traverse around the circumference.
A number of little walkways follow ponds and small inlets. While you walk around these, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the hills on the eastern side. The lake is also lined with willows and other trees giving it a lush green appearance and has several pagodas, half-moon bridges, and gardens along the way.
Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and carry your camera with you to capture some of the beautiful sights along this area.
There are quite a few scenic spots around the lake such as Leifeng Pagoda, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Chenghaung Pavilion, and Lingyin that charge an admission fee.
