Lijiang has a wide range of places to eat and here you will find Naxi, Chinese and Tibetan food.
Most restaurants are in the center of the Old Town, which is an UNESCO World Heritage site, and many of them face the waterways. Prices are lower in the back street restaurants.

Morning English Bar and Restaurant on Yu He Corridor C-13. Burgers, pork cutlets, chips and the like. After a long period of having only Chinese food, one might hanker after western chow such as this. Frosty Morning even has Guinness.
This restaurant specializes in Naxi cuisine and is very popular.

Jiannan Chun Xiao Chi Restaurant situated on Qiyi Street between the canal with several wooden bridges on one side and a narrow cobblestoned street. The menu is large and in both Mandarin and English. They offer familiar Chinese dishes as well as local specialties such as the restaurant's signature chilli fish, chicken, pork or beef hotpots.

Le Petit Paris is one of the most popular bars in town among travelers. Owned and run by Frenchman Joel and his Chinese wife Marie, the bar serves Chinese and French-style meals. Menus are in English.

The Old Town Beef Restaurant (also known as Ha's Beef Restaurant) on Xueshan Middle Road serves Muslim food. This restaurant goes back more than 90 years and staff members wear traditional Naxi costumes.

Prague Café offers Chinese and Western food and is a well known hang-out for backpackers.
