Itinerary

• Pick up from hotel.
• Visit the Norbulingka, former summer residence of the Dalai Lama.
• Walk around Barkhor Square and bazaar, surrounding the Jokhang Temple, visited by hundreds (sometimes thousands) of Tibetan pelgrims every day.
• Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Visit the Drepung Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in the immediate vicinity of Lhasa.
• Return to hotel in the afternoon.
